Gainesville Lecture Series Open to the Public!

The Florida Earth Project is a educational platform administered by the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, University of Florida and composed of over 30 partners in education, government, industry and environment.. The Project course offers participants the opportunity to learn about a land system by engaging in a field-based experience that travels to locations where experts convey information concerning natural resource science and issues. This format uses the South Florida ecosystem as a living laboratory to explore this fascinating area in the forefront of natural resource and environmental efforts around the world.

The Earth Project Course Series

The Earth Project series provides participants with two tracts to learn about natural resource issues and science in south Florida.  First, agencies, industry, organizations and the public can  take the Extension series which are spaced throughout the year.  Second, master's degree seeking students can take the academic course, SOS 6932 for three hours credit..
